Ventilators
Mechanical Ventilation for COVID
“The recommendation to place COVID patients on mechanical ventilation as a first-line response came from the World Health Organization, which allegedly based its guidance on experiences & recommendations from doctors in China. But venting COVID patients wasn’t recommended because it increased survival. It was to protect health care workers by isolating the virus inside the vent machine.”

There was a point where everyone was put on a vent in hospital because doctors didn't want to breathe the same air they did.

80% of Covid patients put on ventilators died. This is probably most shocking revelation unknown to the public. pic.twitter.com/MjAnwXw1VS

Lol
His authorities:
A psychiatrist who parades around as a "suicidologist" with no notable publication history who misrepresents lags in data reporting.
A neurologist who advocated for early intubation to "stop the spread" in New York's March '20 wave.

Hospital reimbursement for COVID pneumonia being on a ventilator was also significantly higher $39K vs $13K without. Also, paid extra if patient died with a covid confirmed PCR test – regardless of that was the actual cause of death. Follow the money.

You’d think they’d at least be Wikipedia-level informed about ventilators! It clearly articulates the difference between invasive & non-invasive. It’s very misleading to the public to claim that only the invasive type are “real ventilators”.https://t.co/wHkAQ9177V

A mask or nose “ventilator” with moderately increased oxygen % will help. This is common in hospitals. Intubation, where a tube is jammed down your throat under sedation & you’re fed high pressure, pure oxygen for several days to weeks is questionable.

Ironclad emergency medical practices — about when to use ventilators, for example — have dissolved almost overnight.
