In 2017, UNC Medical Center listed Michael Desronvil as a recipient of a
Patient Service Star Award in the
Benign Hematology / Therapeutic Infusion Clinic.
The UNC announcement identifies his manager as James Malley.

The award establishes his association with the UNC clinical operation and recognition
for patient service. It does not, by itself, establish a specific job title such as
nursing assistant.

Raleigh-area pest control — Bulwark Exterminating

A 2019 customer testimonial supplied for this investigation identifies
Michael Desronvil as the person the customer was working with at
Bulwark Exterminating in the Raleigh area.

The customer described having used Bulwark for approximately a year and praised Michael
specifically for his handling of a severe ant problem, saying that he had made it his
“personal vendetta” to rid the customer’s home and yard of the ants.

Bulwark is a Raleigh-based pest-control company whose current official Raleigh operation
is located on Old Wake Forest Road. Its services include residential pest control,
ants, termites, mosquitoes and other pests.

Important: the testimonial establishes a contemporary customer interaction with a
Michael Desronvil; it does not independently establish his exact job title or complete
employment dates.

Later Massachusetts period

By 2020, Michael was again documented in Brockton, Massachusetts. His father,
Michel Marcel Desronvil, died in Brockton in June 2020. The obituary identified
Michael Peguy Desronvil as one of his five children and listed Michael and Jouveline
as living in Brockton.

July 28, 2025 — Richard Reid mayoral campaign

Michael Desronvil at a Brockton address as an individual contributor
who gave $150.03 by check to
Richard Reid, a 2025 Brockton mayoral candidate.

Reid’s own candidate biography describes a long career in business, education,
information technology and ministry, as well as roughly a decade of involvement in
Brockton politics. Reid also specifically describes work building computer-training
labs for the Haitian and Nigerian communities in Brockton and his
involvement with local civic and educational organizations.

This makes the contribution potentially relevant to Michael’s broader Brockton
community connections, particularly given his Haitian background. It does
not establish that Michael and Reid personally knew one another.

The contribution occurred in July 2025, well before the 2026 housing-court proceedings.
It demonstrates that Michael chose to spend $150.03 on political activity at that time;
it does not establish that he had $150 of disposable income when his rent later became
delinquent.

2021 domestic incident

Public reporting describes a September 2021 incident involving Michael and his wife,
Jouveline Desronvil. Michael was arrested on an allegation of assault and battery
involving a family or household member. The criminal case was later dismissed.

Divorce

Court records identify
Michael P. Desronvil v. Jouveline Desronvil.
The parties married in June 2020, last lived together in September 2021, and had a
daughter born in March 2021.

Nephew and restraining-order history

Later reporting describes a restraining-order proceeding involving Michael and his
teenage nephew. The allegations included physical contact during a 2025 incident.
These allegations should not be treated as established criminal findings.

Family estrangement

NBC10 Boston reported that investigators contacted members of Michael’s family and
were told that family members had been estranged from him since the incident involving
his nephew.

NBC10 also reported that the family members did not know Michael was serving on the
Lindsay Clancy jury. One family member described him as a
“narcissist” and said she believed he should never have served as a
juror in such an important case.

“Narcissist” is the family member’s characterization, not a clinical diagnosis and
should not be presented as one.

The Lindsay Clancy jury deliberated for approximately seven days before becoming
deadlocked 11–1. Reporting identified the holdout as a Black male
juror who maintained reasonable doubt and refused to find Clancy not criminally
responsible.

The jury was not sequestered. Jurors were permitted to return home
during deliberations, subject to the judge’s instructions not to discuss or research
the case.

The juror’s identity has not been officially released by the court. The identification
of Michael Desronvil therefore remains a working identification based
on the convergence of public records and reporting.
