Trayvon Isiah Willingham
Man exonerated in the death of Darryl Winborn.
LAPD had “arrested” Trayvon Isiah Willingham on February 26, 2024, for allegedly causing the death of Winborn on a bus by Olympic & Western in Koreatown. He was held on $2 million bail.
It later turned out that Winborn had suffered a heart attack while being high on meth.
By February 28, the district attorney had decided not to file charges, and Willingham was released. His “arrest” was deemed a detention under California law.
