Sharon Siboni

Chef Sharon On-Siboni of Bazilikum Kosher Catering grew up in the old city of Jerusalem. She was influenced by the Middle Eastern cooking of her mother and grandmother.
Inspired by her father’s Moroccan and her mother’s Syrian roots, chef Sharon creates gourmet cuisine that mixes traditional Middel Eastern and Moroccan dishes with contemporary European tastes. All of her dishes are exclusively glatt kosher, and she only uses spices that are directly imported from Israel.
Chef Sharon immigrated to the United States from Israel in 1998, and in 2006, with a modest investment of $1,800, she started catering for various schools in organizations, often for as much as 400 people at once.
For the past seven years she has catered various holidays and events at the Kabbalah Center in Los Angeles. Her dishes have even been tasted by Sacha Baron Cohen, Demi Moore, and Madonna.
