San Francisco firefighter accused of deliberately hitting a fellow firefighter with a wrench more than 10 times.

Firefighter Robert Muhammad is accused of beating Firefighter Gabriel Shin with the wrench at Shin’s home on Feb. 1.

The police say Muhammad went to Station 25 and retrieved Shin’s home address from the computer system, took a department wrench and then drove to Oakland to assault his fellow firefighter. Shin suffered a broken arm and a concussion in the attack.

Shin’s lawyer said Muhammad had displayed aggressive behavior for more than ten years, but it was ignored by department management. He said department management also asked Shin to drop the charges in the case.
