It’s biomechanically impossible for Luigi Mangione to have committed the crime. He can’t raise his hands like that. He can’t ride a bike.

NYPD NARRATIVE / TIMELINE
As noted by the New York Times on Dec. 6, Friday.
The gunman left the hostel at 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 4 and rode a bicycle toward midtown, Chief Kenny said. At 5:41 a.m., he arrived at the Hilton and began wandering the area near the hotel, walking back and forth on West 54th Street, before going into a Starbucks, where he bought a bottle of water and a snack bar.
After shooting Mr. Thompson at 6:44 a.m., he got back on the bike and made it into Central Park four minutes later. He left the park at 6:56 a.m., still on the bicycle. Surveillance cameras captured footage of him, still on the bicycle, two minutes later at 86th Street and Columbus Avenue. By 7 a.m. he was still on 86th street, no longer on the bicycle. He then took a cab northbound to a bus station near the George Washington Bridge.
By 7:30 a.m. he had made it to the bus station, where video surveillance showed him going in but not coming out.
The police have not been able to find the bicycle.
Joseph Kenny, the chief detective, said that investigators are looking into the possibility that the gunman used what’s known as a veterinary gun, a larger firearm used on farms and ranches. “If an animal has to get put down, the animal can be shot without” the weapon causing a large noise, Kenny said.
The bullet casings found at the crime scene each bore a word written in permanent marker: depose, deny and delay. Kenny said investigators believe the gunman is either a disgruntled ex-employee of Brian Thompson’s insurance company or an angry client.
Kenny gave specific times where cameras caught the gunman’s movements after the shooting, which took place at 6:44 a.m. on Wednesday. He fled, first on foot, then on a bike, and pedaled into Central Park at 60th Street at 6:48 a.m., four minutes after the shooting. At 6:56 a.m., he left the park, still on the bicycle, at 77th Street on the Upper West Side.
Surveillance footage then showed him near 86th Street and Columbus Avenue, still on the bicycle, two minutes later. Around 7 a.m., he got into a cab that took him to a station in Upper Manhattan used by interstate buses. Surveillance footage shows him going in, but not coming out.
The suspect got in taxicab at 7:04 a.m. on 86th Street and Amsterdam Avenue going north. By 7:30 a.m., he had made it to the Port Authority bus depot in Upper Manhattan.
* The news about the suspect likely leaving town came after a series of breaks in the case earlier on Friday, including the disclosure by the authorities that they had obtained DNA from a water bottle at the scene and took it for testing. Chief Kenny said they had a passenger list for the Greyhound bus that brought the suspect to New York but emphasized that passengers did not need identification or a credit card to board the bus, so he could have even boarded as John Doe.
* Experts in facial recognition technology disagree on whether the widely circulated security-camera images of a smiling man wearing a hooded jacket, but depicting his face from a sharply downward angle, would contain enough detail to identify him, since the technology works best with a high-resolution photo of someone looking directly into a camera.
“He attached an e-bike battery to a regular bike and rode it down to the hotel. Allegedly.”

THE FEDERAL INDICTMENT
According to a lot of lawyers, it shouldn’t be too challenging to fight this because of the legal definition of stalking as all 4 federal charges have to do with stalking. Stalking under the federal law requires the victim to be placed under substantial fear for their safety and experience emotional distress. The affidavit did not mention that BT was in fear of his safety. Also, the footage doesn’t show this. While his ex wife did mention he’s received some death threats, BT refused bodyguards to accompany him that day. That is unless there are other evidences not known by us that can prove otherwise or that can link those threats to LM directly.
