Karen Roseberry of Palmdale was Executive Director of the Care Net Women’s Resource Center of North County.

She acquired a Master of Arts – MA Political Science and Government from California State University, Northridge.

Karen Roseberry was a California native who spent years working in education, politics, and project management.

She was 46 years old when she died.

Firefighters and paramedics were sent to State Highway 138 and East Avenue T about 11:35 p.m. Friday, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Karen Roseberry died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said a Kia Sportage collided with a big rig, killing the driver of the Kia. The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
