David Pruessner
Husband of Birdie Pruessner. Divorced in 2017.
David W. Pruessner, a human resources consultant at Wells Fargo Advisors, was paralyzed in an ATV accident at age 14 and has been in a wheelchair ever since.
He grew up in Washington, Missouri, and graduated from Washington High School in 1991. He studied two years at East Central Community College before heading off to Missouri State University.
After college, Pruessner worked two years for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Dallas (“It was a little different for me because I couldn’t drive the rental cars.”) and 12 years for CitiMortgage in O’Fallon, Missouri.
With the onset of the mortgage crisis, which led to a rapid decline in mortgage business, he got a call in 2008 from Wachovia Securities, now Wells Fargo Advisors. That led to his current position as a human resources consultant for the company’s Private Client Group.
Pruessner serves on the board of Paraquad and volunteers at City Academy, where his wife is a teacher.
